How It Works
Bring your Shopify e-commerce data into your Flashbox workspace with our built-in connector. Enter your store domain, Client ID, and Client Secret from the Shopify Developer Dashboard, and Flashbox validates credentials and shows available resources: orders (with date filtering), products, and customers. Each resource is flattened for clean analysis — orders include customer and shipping details, products include pricing and inventory, and customers include lifetime value and location data.
Setting up Shopify access
Open the Developer Dashboard
Go to dev.shopify.com/dashboard (the connector has a direct link). Make sure your store is selected.
Create an app
Click "Create an app", enter a name (e.g. "Flashbox"), and set the App URL to https://flashbox.ai (just a required field, won't be used). Paste the scopes read_orders, read_products, read_customers, read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, read_returns into the scopes text field, then finish and launch the app.
Install in your store
Once the app is active, click "Install app" (top right of the app page on the dev dashboard), select your store, and confirm the installation.
Copy credentials and paste into Flashbox
Go to the "API credentials" tab of your app on the dev dashboard and copy your Client ID and Client Secret. Then click the connection card in Flashbox and paste your store domain (e.g. my-store or my-store.myshopify.com), Client ID, and Client Secret. Flashbox validates the credentials instantly and shows the available resources (Orders, Products, Customers).
